Blossom Season

Hello days of May! This month is the apple of my eye, when warm is too perfect and flowers can't help but unfold beautifully. Yes, it's a blossom season! So, to reckon with, my ensemble is an exact counterpart of floral laces and prints with a lovely harmony of two-toned pastels of pink and blue.

I covet on seeing varieties of lace patched on every piece of cloth. Since i do itch for it, I made a DIY crop top with floral lace details below. Where did I get those laces? I destroy our table cloth. That's what resourcefulness and a "desperate Me" can do. Haha.

I know there's nothing new with crop top paired with a high-waisted shorts, and this pair is just too mainstream for the season, but even so, my version has a playful and distinct way to go. Mine is a high-waisted jumper shorts and suspenders that come with it. Suspenders are worn for holding up pants and least trendy nowadays, yet it doesn't mean we have to keep it forever in our closet; since fashion is a way to explore and to evolve, I make use of suspenders as accessory, or should I say, a main highlight on my look. So, would you still leave suspenders behind when they can catch everyone's eye on your look? I guess this ten pesos piece is the best mate for my crop top, they really rock so fun and quirky!

On the finishing, I wear a pretty flower crown on my head and a pair of light beige high heels. I also accessorize some feminine details like this dainty pearl necklace and a bag with a match of lace details too. Each lovely piece was pulled together to give a fresh & comfy look with a pretty girly charm. Or can  we just consider my look like a modern fairy? I would definitely love it!

Summer Bloom

It's been awhile since the last time I blogged, back then I just left a wintry outfit post, yet in a blink of an eye, it's already summer! Who wouldn't love summer? Even the lil snowman 'Olaf' of Frozen dreamed about it! Either I who more likely in the cold would risk in the twofold heat of this season just to wear and tear my summery wardrobes. Finally, it has arrived! Now I've got the chance of donning this floral dress under the sun!

Mind not the black hue and the length of sleeves of this dress, the teeny floral pattern that cover the overall did make it an ever summer-appropriate! Summer isn't about bikinis, anyway. Still and all, it's a good pick for dressier and girlier look that's in season. Thanks to a refreshing, natural setting! Its great bursts of leaves completely suited my summer bloom outfit theme.

And since the sun is raging this season, wearing a hat or any stuff for sun protection is a must. But more than that, I put on a brown fedora hat as a head accessory to give another touch for my ensemble. There are numerous ways on styling this hat, but I fused it on my floral pattern and high heel for a more feminine version as well as to look as a lovely hobo chic living in the midst of an alley. What do you think?

Out Cold

Why not extend your peak at least for this month, northeast monsoon? You made me fall in love with your cooler wind gust and all of a sudden, you slipped away. Hmm...Even the people in the North are now irritated-yet-happy with the dripping slush all over their place which is a hint of spring's approach. Is it just a natural changeover to warm atmospheric condition or simply because it's a month of love that make us feel the warmth? Which do ya think?  But even so,  no season can pull me away from wearing this pullover.

Ironically, I've been desperately eyeing for faux fur coat and alike since then, despite my hiatus with hairy mammals as it makes me shiver from touching their undercoats. Well as you look at me now, I am cozily wrapped up with this soft and thick fake wool long pullover. Oops, please don't get wrong with my look, I'm not a baa-baa-black sheep. Hihi!

I love how minimal and versatile this piece is, it can be a coat and a casual dress in one. You need not to worry much on mix-and-match or layering matters. Too loose that you can hide your true figure, just in case you want or need. It's also lightweight that you can carry easily and move comfortably despite it's thickness. For once, I can even be huggable for becoming so fluffy. Tehee!

Just so much I envy those wintry wardrobes, I also give legwear a try by settling with these below-the-knee socks and sequined pumps instead of knee-high boots to spice up a more sophisticated casual look, especially that all is in black.

Ere The Flowers Unfold

Flowers start to unfold in the spring/summer time wherein floral prints start to appear on everyone's ensemble. At this point in time, I'm not excited unlike how this array appeals. These flowers have just bloom on my pants so early that I ought to show off their beauty soon before their petals fall and get withered. We often see flowers having vivid colors right then and there resembled to floral prints,  this one is merely a bit far-out. The azure and greenish shades of this print brings out a cool and unmarred fresh vibe which wouldn't detached in an ambiance not yet suitably warmed up.

Oftentimes, when we want to emphasize a multihued or full detailed piece, we choose to fall in with a plain one, especially in a staple white. That's what I did to get a focus on my floral prints, but as how it appeared to me now, it didn't go that way. My plain sleeveless top steals the center of attraction for it has also something to get allured to, that is its pleated chiffon high-low back design. Yay or nay? I know for an hour you'll be freezing coz we're  still stuck on a cold weather, but dare to wear it  and let this back cover get carried off by the strong blow of the wind that would make a dramatic effect on your casual outfit! That would be great as I imagine! Hmm...

To add more, I put on earrings with a touch of gold and white that are as dainty as pearls; a mint green necklace with dazzling stones to contrast the white top yet complement on the floral prints. I've even got a chance to flaunt my classic white pointed shoes. These embellishments make a final touch on my refined and classy style statement.

Buckle Down Not Under

You'll never appreciate a less noticeable piece until you've styled it.
Just as when my rounded eyes landed to this three-quartered length sleeves on a rummage sale, at first sight I wonder when to use and how to style it knowing that this isn't a trendy piece. I've got a second thought of not buying it, but still, you see me wearing it now. I purchased it to best avoid regrets; because in rummage sale, there's only one piece available in every item, it's a now or never policy. This is as low as 5php, anyways!

I know what you see in me: a school girl, a flight attendant, or Sailor Moon version 2.0 either. Yes, this look is cut from the same cloth of the aforementioned, but being one? It's a triple no,no,no! I'm done with my schooling with not so satisfied uniforms, yet unfinished to go after my dream of becoming a flight attendant, not to be the next Sailor Moon 2.0. haha! What's really good in fashion and style, there's no such dress code nor rules and regulations to comply with, we are all free to go beyond our limitations, dress up in any version we like to be and flaunt to many. As long as we feel like dressing this look up, so be it!

I tried something new by wearing something old. With oversize buttons and the bell-like wide hem on the sleeves make this top so vintage. It's also cool because it's a cropped top, considering that cropped top is a mainstream piece. So to keep my vintage look still on trend, I matched it with a skater skirt. There's now a balance between old and new.

Of course, who wouldn't be beguiled with a pair of shoes with more than one strap buckle? I bought this on a rummage sale for only 180php. A bit expensive compared to my other shoes. haha! Something classy has come out on this look because of this pair. This totally complement my newfangled vintage self-colored look as they go all in navy blue.

The idiomatic title of this look was originated from my three strap buckle shoes. (Can't get rid of it! hihi!) Not to be so dramatic, but seriously, once you've got the chance to dive in into something, there should be no point of turning back. Just in my case, I'm a newbie blogger, beginnings are the hardest, some bloggers have gone their way so far, a thousand miles ahead of me, but I have no other choice but to give my best shot, dedication and passion. I compare not but be inspired with them for the road we've taken are just the same. So, no matter what-when-how, just buckle down, never buckle under, for fulfillment of dreams & happiness will go buckle up on you! (Here's a tissue paper. :'D)

Down-to-Gaia

Dreary & dusty, that's my perception on this toned-down hue of brown. In line with clothing, it's a certain color to wear during spring and autumn, but not apt in winter and summer. Nevertheless, I passed over the rule because we don't have snow here (yet?) haha. I'm still thankful that my semblance is ideal to the raging, blowy and chilly breeze we have here now which is obviously seen on my hair, what do you think?

The shade of brown could also speak of no
direction just as I am togged up, from top to toe, with this monochromatic earth tone-ain't certain of what attitude to limn. Until I've come up with a long sleeve top mated to a skirt and booties on, a lovely damsel is exhibited then. Yes, this might have been a typical pattern these days, but a match of lace to leather, of sweet to grunge, I think these minutiae make it pretty unusual.

"Where's the leather??!!", you might ask with screaming voice. haha. Looking closely to my skirt, you can clearly see that it isn't made of ordinary fabrics, the brown stripes are in leather texture...do you see now? And when you try to look on the black portion, it has a resemblance of chiffon fabrics but this is actually made of creep papers. KIDDING! haha. Nah, I just can't figure out what kinda fabric is that, tell me please? But that is unique, indeed.

These two photos are actually "SAYANG!" I am blurred! My bf/photorapher needs more practice! :)

Laces... floral and lovely laces I have on my top. I bought this two years ago and just store it in my closet on the grounds that I can't push myself into this track yet. It's overwhelming that somehow, I can now flaunt my most treasured pieces and share them to you, finaaallyy! Anyhow, I just adore how dainty this piece is especially when I turned my back. Do you see that V-shaped design with laces? Isn't it better when your piece has back details too? While most people commonly thought that it's enough to put all the details in front, you show it off, they throw compliments and it's over, why not turn their heads and get them surprised by flaunting your back with something that they could give another "wow" reaction? I'm pretty sure you won't get the same admiration; by that time, you'll be more worth -seeing in any angle, front or back, either.
